WOW corner also offers a variety of programmes focusing on the improvement of English language skills as well as introducing and strengthening other abilities including life skills, “English for a specific purpose” is one of these programmes. Such programs will offer the English language for housewives, tourism, industry etc.

Komarudin Hidayat earned a BA in Islamic Education (1977), a doctorate in the same field at IAIN Jakarta (the old UIN Jakarta) in 1981 and continued his doctoral studies abroad. He received a doctorate in Western Philosophy at the Middle East Technical University (Ankara, Turkey) in 1990. Post Doctorate Research Programs in Harfort Seminary, Connecticut, United States, for one semester (1997) Komar became a Professor at the Graduate Faculty of IAIN Jakarta in 1990, a lecturer with the Graduate Faculty of the University of Indonesia in 1992, and a professor at the School of Philosophy (STF) Driyarkara in since 1993. On October 17, 2006, in a senate meeting chaired by Azyumardi Azra in the main auditorium of UIN Jakarta, Komar was elected rector of the university. Komar is a columnist with Kompas, Seputar Indonesia and Republika. He has sat on the Editorial Board of the magazine Ulumul Qur’an since 1991, the Editorial Board of Studia Islamika since 1994, and the Board of Editors of the Encyclopedia of the Islamic World. He is also Director of the Centre for Contemporary Islamic Development Studies (Pusat Kajian Pengembangan Islam Kontemporer), UIN Jakarta (since 1995). Since 1990 he has been a researcher with the Endowments Paramadina Foundation (Yayasan Wakaf Paramadina), Jakarta.

Harry Lim, Managing Director (Pacific Malacca Ventures) Lim is the Managing Director for Pacific Malacca Ventures an investment and corporate advisor to Fortune 1000 companies and startup ventures. The corporate advisory works covering technology, mining, engineering & construction, logistic & packaging, real estate investment and education related companies. Lim received his education and graduated in a Finance from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Current and past experience, Lim is a Director and Board Member of the American Indonesian Chamber of Commerce in New York. Lim was an Associate to a lobbying firm Kimmitt, Coates & McCarthy in Washington D.C. (currently with Weinfurter & Associates in Washington D.C.) Before that, Lim was International Vice President for Burns & McDonnell, an Engineering & Architectural Construction company, in charge of Project Finance and International Business Development. Prior to joining the Burns & McDonnell management team, he was Vice President for Ellerbe Becket Construction Services of Ellerbe Becket, one of the largest architecture firms in the US at that time. He also holds a number of board position as Director for both, profit and nonprofit institutions in the US and Paramadina), Jakarta.

Abdul Hamid Batubara has been President Director of PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia since March 5th, 2010. Mr. Batubara began his career at Chevron as a computer analysts programmer in 1982. He served as Senior Vice President for Chevron’s Sumatra operation support division. He obtained his master’s degree in business administration at the Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, US, in 1999. Mr. Batubara graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1982, majoring in electrical engineering.
Harry Bustaman is the Founder and a Member of the Corporate Social Responsibility Society of Indonesia. He is also a member of Public Relations Association of Indonesia since 1992, The Indonesia Petroleum Association between 1984-2016, and Board of Experts, Dr. Soetomo Press Institute since 2003-2005.
Prior to his retirement from PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia (CPI) in 2016, Harry spent 32-year of with PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia (CPI) in the areas of Facility Management, Public Relations, Communications, and Corporate Social Responsibility. His last position was Manager of Corporate Responsibility, Chevron IndoAsia Business Unit.
A native of Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, Harry earned his bachelor degree in International Relations in 1983 from the Catholic University of Parahyangan. He is also a graduate of the San Francisco Academy in California, USA ( 1998).
Yeni Ratna currently is a lecturer at State Islamic off University, Syarif Hidayatullah, Jakarta.
